Hi everyone! My friends call me "Liz." I'm a Milwaukee native and the author of four novels: THROWING ROSES (The Permanent Press); RAINEY'S LAMENT (Virago Press, UK, and The Overlook Press); DEAR MR. CARSON (The Permanent Press); and THE REMARKABLE JOURNEY OF MISS TRANBY QUIRKE (Virago Press, UK, and Bold Strokes Books). I have a bachelor's degree in journalism from Northwestern University and a master's degree in creative writing from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England.
Today I live in suburban Milwaukee with my dynamic housecats, Claudius and Calpurnia, and where I run my home-based business, THE WRITER'S MIDWIFE, dedicated to helping aspiring authors get published.
